In 1997 the wire & cable industry in China did not have any Chinese language information portals. The rest of the world did not have information on the Chinese wire & cable industry organized in one place in a user friendly format.

China Cable Network was formed in 1997 to provide the premium information portals the Chinese wire & cable industry had not enjoyed.

In four short years China Cable Network has developed two premium portals dedicated to the Chinese wire and cable industry. Our internet portal, chinacable.com.cn, is a business-to-business website for members only. Our members come from all sectors of the industry throughout China. Cable Information is a Chinese language magazine distributed to senior management of the wire & cable industry.

The new millennium is bringing many changes to China. The need for accurate information in China is even greater with WTO bringing dramatic changes to the Chinese business environment.
